Software Quality Assurance Lead

We have an immediate need for a QA Project Lead for one of our key software projects. The QA Project Lead has overall ownership of one or more software testing project(s) within various domains including entertainment, health care, and finance. You will be responsible for identifying team process gaps, implementing best practices, following up on deliverables, escalation management, communicating with client teams including development and upper management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take full ownership and excellent care of our clients’ software testing projects.
  • Assess the needs of the development team and implement improvements to the existing software development and testing process
  • Define roadmaps and detailed implementation plans on behalf of and/or in collaboration with the development team for software testing strategy and implementation.
  • Design test data, perform functional testing, data validations, review test cases and scripts created to ensure proper test coverage
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget and provide timely reports to Leadership team on the health of assigned project(s)
  • Act as a mentor for QA Engineers and QA Analysts
  • Track and ensure resource availability and allocation


  • BS or MS in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of software delivery experience in Software Testing role including full SDLC, Agile, Scrum
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of software testers and engineers
  • Knowledge of utilizing test/project management tools (JIRA, Testrail, TestLodge, Zephyr)
  • Development of the test case execution plan, test case execution, defect management, and status metrics
  • Superb communication, teamwork, reporting, documentation, detail oriented, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with native mobile app (both Android and iOS) and web test automation tools and frameworks a plus
  • Familiar with the following tools a plus:
  • Curl, Postman, Swagger, Fiddler
  • Artillery, BlazeMeter, JMeter, LoadRunner
  • Salesforce, Vindicia
